Haby is actively involved in the life of her french town, Montvilliers. She learns that the new mayor of the municipality is planning to redevelop her neighborhood. However, this plan involves the demolition of Building 5—the building where Haby grew up. Together with other residents, she does everything she can to oppose the plan, save the building, and ensure that the redevelopment of the neighborhood does not come at the expense of the people who live there.
